In 1906, at the height of his fame, Harry Houdini created the “Conjurers’ Monthly Magazine” in an effort to promote and maintain the world of magicianship he helped to create. While the publication only ran for two years, Houdini himself continues to be synonymous with the gold standard of escape acts over 100 years later.
This issue from October 1907 is housed in a protective 4-flap enclosure and cloth case with a foil-stamped title label. |
