A handy, multi-purpose bookbinder's tool. Tapered edges for folding and creasing; rounded point for box corners, head and tail turn-ins, etc.; long, flat sides for smoothing out pasted boards; square end with a double bevel for box edges, burnishing, targeted pressure, etc. Smoother, softer, and easier to clean than bone.

Delrin (chemically polyoxymethylene or acetal) is a hard, white thermoplastic. It has a friction coefficient equitable to Teflon making it easier to clean and less likely to burnish paper and bookcloth than bone or wood folders.
