A thin, slightly flexible tool with a long taper on two sides coming to a rounded point. Useful for scoring, lifting delicate materials, getting into tight spaces, and finessing cloth, paper, and leather with a finer, smoother touch than bone or steel.

Delrin (chemically polyoxymethylene or acetal) is a hard, white thermoplastic. It has a friction coefficient equitable to Teflon making it easy to clean and less likely to burnish paper and bookcloth than bone or wood folders.
